Again continuing the peaking series of photos...I really love this type of minimalist photography. As many of you may already know, I am colorblind and so the soothing effect of shades of gray is like chocolate for me and I could eat it up all day long. This minimalist grayscale photography is a break from the sometimes confusing world of color...to my eyes at least. I don't have to worry if the purples aren't really blues, or if those bright yellow fluorescent colors really aren't bright green...and so on. I wish all could see the world through a colorblind eye, as it is a much different place...I assure you. Those red apples in the apple trees that stand out to you, to me they blend in and are barely visible unless I look for the distinctive round shape. Our world is of shapes, textures, shades, and lines. Think about that for a second and you may just become enlightened to the fact that the world is radically different for us colorblind, especially to those of us in design and photography.
