I really liked the texture of the terrain on this shot, and the interesting shapes of the shadows. Look hard and you'll start seeing all kinds of things. Please feel free to comment.

I really enjoy the high contrast of this image. The black lines are really compelling, and you are right - one can imagine a lot from the shadows. I especially like the leading lines that the erosion on the hill side make, pointing one right to the salient precipice. Very nice image. Joshua Mahar @ 07-20-2007
Additionally - I noticed that you are shooting with a D70 at ISO 800. What are you using for post-capture to clean that up?

Really cool view from up there ! Nice shot ! Regis @ 08-09-2007
I like the texture as well. I always struggle with these kinds of wide open landscapes, but you have done very well with this one. Jessica @ 08-10-2007
Excellent B&W here. love the lighting Chacha @ 08-11-2007
Hi Marcelo
Nice additions to your work. The B & W pix look a little like the old copy film, Kodalith. Did you filter any of them for contrast and grainyness?
How are you doing? I am up in the Adirondacks. I havent shot much but should have more time this fall and winter. Stay in touch Steve Bellew @ 08-26-2007
Good use of black and white to emphasise the shadows and depth. Digital Photo Ted @ 10-14-2007
Superb capture and treatment....
